    A woman once said at a conference once that Balance doesn’t exist – because you can only ever really be doing one thing well at one time. So you are either mom in the moment, or friend, or wife, or writer, and so on. But you can’t be all things all the time. That really stuck with me and struck me, and I feel that powerful feeling of acceptance again after reading your essay. Thank you!

    Yes, trying to find balance is one of the great mysteries of life. And I think you’re right. Its mostly bullshit but there are certain moments you feel it and go “Ahh…” Here it is. It doesn’t last long but feels good those few times it happens. Then everything goes back to chaos.
